Course Description

  • The ASME Section 9 course is designed to provide comprehensive knowledge and practical skills for professionals and engineers involved in the field of welding and brazing. ASME Section 9 is a critical component of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code, outlining the requirements for the qualification of welders and welding procedures in various industries.
  • This course offers an in-depth exploration of the code's key provisions, procedures, and best practices, enabling participants to ensure compliance and safety in their welding and brazing operations.
  • Accreditation by ASME is granted in accordance with ASME international training policy.
  • The course is overseen and evaluated by the ASME regional presenters and instructors.
  • Equivalent to ASME standard PDH (Professional Development Hours),
  • This course is an integral component of the ASME professional program titled "Specialization Diploma in Piping and Pressure Vessels."
  • The course is classified under Course Category A in ASME professional program.
  • Upon not achieving a minimum score of 60% in the total course assessment, an attendance certificate will be issued to the candidate.

Advanced:
  • Candidates with 5-10  years experience in the field.
  • Candidates will analyze and critique information about complex problems and newly emerging areas, includes mastery of skills, evaluation, management, and supervision.
