Course Description

This course offers intensive knowledge and experience in Liquid & Gas services pipeline application fields specially in petroleum and petrochemical, considering all construction aspects such as materials, design, manufacturing, and testing. Focusing on explaining the most important code paragraphs and its applications.
The course presents the required practical code knowledge needed in daily work activities in engineering and production companies.
Accreditation by ASME is granted in accordance with ASME international training policy.
The course is overseen and evaluated by the ASME regional presenters and instructors.
Equivalent to ASME standard PDH (Professional Development Hours),
This course is an integral component of the ASME professional program titled "Specialization Diploma in Piping and Pressure Vessels."
The course is classified under Course Category B in ASME professional program.
Upon not achieving a minimum score of 60% in the total course assessment, an attendance certificate will be issued to the candidate.

Distinguish the different between piping and pipeline components and specification.
Distinguish the different between various issuance of related pipeline ASME codes and API standards.
Comprehends the line pipe manufacturing process and pipeline fabrication activities.
Recognize the difference examination and testing consideration as per code and standards considerations.
Understand different piping systems and smart pigging for advanced inspection activities.

Fundamental:

Intermediate:

Candidates with 3-5 years experience in the field.
Candidates will learn to apply their existing engineering knowledge and skills to problems.

Advanced:

Candidates with 5-10 years experience in the field.
Candidates will analyze and critique information about complex problems and newly emerging areas, includes mastery of skills, evaluation, management, and supervision.
